Who We Are
We are independent fishermen who work on the owner-operated fishing vessel, Maria E. Every summer we travel to Bristol Bay, Alaska, to harvest delicious, healthy, Sockeye Salmon. Together with our fleet, we provide high-quality, sustainable, zero-bycatch salmon straight from our deck to your dish.
In this remote region of Western Alaska, one of the largest migrations on earth takes place. Millions of fish swim into Bristol Bay to spawn in the various rivers of the region. For over 100 years they’ve supported a thriving commercial fishery.
Bristol Bay is the gold standard for sustainability in the fishing industry. The state of Alaska carefully manages the fishery to ensure its continued prosperity for generations to come. In recent decades, fish stocks have plummeted all over the world, while in Bristol Bay the salmon run has steadily increased to record levels through careful management and preservation of habitat.
